Cribbage BUGS

DawgGawnIt April 29, 2010 at 8:47 AM CDT

I've noticed a couple of bugs in the Cribbage Scoring:

FLUSH:  Is counted in your hand ONLY if all 4 cards IN your hand are the same suit.  The common card is only counted IF the previous condition has been met.  ALSO a flush in the Crib is ONLY counted when ALL 5 cards are of the same suit.

CRIB:  I've noticed a counting error in the Crib on a few occasions, the following is 2 examples.

A, 2, 3, 4, 5 (not necessarily in that order) was counted as a run of 5 .... the 15 (for a total of 7) was not counted.

A, A, 2, 2, 9 (not necessarily in that order) was counted as 4 ... again the 15 (?) for a total of 6) was not counted.

Sorry,  kinda late getting around to this...

Not sure I understand the comment / "bug report"... thought the Flushes WERE being 'scored' correctly... according to 'standard rules':

Flush:If all four cards of the hand are the same suit, 4 points are scored for flush (only in hands - not in crib). If the start card is the same suit as well, the flush is worth 5 points. There is no score for having 3 hand cards and the start all the same suit. Note also that there is no score for flush during the play - it only counts in the show.

Please excuse me for 'copying' this from an online source !

When I sat and watched a game, the cards I could see were not the cards being played
